THREE CLUBS

Students choose three Sport or Culture Clubs.

ONE FAITH CLUB

Every student also participates in one Bible- or faith-related Club.

CLUB CREDITS

Participation earns Club Credits, with students required to reach a minimum number each year.

CHOICE & COMMITMENT

Try something new. Stay with something you love.

Students may explore different interests or continue developing an existing strength. The Clubs programme gives students meaningful choice while still requiring commitment and participation.

Students may choose their Clubs twice during the year.

FOR EVERY NEW STUDENT

Learning How to Study.

Every student who is new to Heuristica — whether they enter at fourteen or eighteen — completes our Study Skills Club.

Students learn how to extract important information, summarise effectively, organise their notes and prepare properly for tests and examinations.

It counts as one of the student’s 3 + 1 Clubs and earns normal Club Credits.

The aim is not to keep students busy. It is to give them opportunities to develop interests, skills, friendships, discipline and confidence beyond their academic subjects.
