Small enough to know.

Serious enough to challenge.

Why Heuristca?

01

Intentionally small.

Approximately 20 students per class gives teachers room to know, notice and respond. Small enough for relationships. Small enough for accountability.

02

Academically ambitious.

Strong results matter, but the deeper aim is independent learning: students who can think, prepare, work and increasingly take responsibility for themselves.

03

Personally known.

Students should not disappear into a crowd. Teachers should know their strengths, struggles, interests and potential — and recognise when they need help or when they are capable of more.

04

High expectations + high support

Being known does not mean being indulged. We believe young people flourish when genuine care is matched by clear expectations, responsibility and appropriate challenge.

05

Broadly formed.

School should form more than academic ability. Faith, character, interests, responsibility, relationships, resilience and practical experience all matter.

06

Explicitly Christian.

Christian faith is foundational to Heuristica. It shapes how we understand truth, character, relationships, work, responsibility and the purpose of education itself.

KNOWN. CHALLENGED. FORMED.

Education is not only about what a young person knows. It is also about who they are becoming.

This is the kind of education we are building at Heuristica High — an independent Christian high school in Kimberley.

LIVE WORTHY.
